Pathway Description
The Police Science program is for the student who wishes to work in the field of corrections or take classes to transfer to WITCC, and potentially a four-year program. High school graduates will be prepared for positions in law enforcement as well as positions with private security, corrections, juvenile work, and private investigation. To be accepted into the program, students much achieve the following scores on the Computerized Placement Test (CPT): 80 Reading; 86 Sentence Structure; 56 Arithmetic or 38 Elementary Algebra.

- Knowledge of police operations, crime scene, general investigation, critical incident management.
- Ability to assess situations and problem and identify possible actions/solutions
- Developed organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
- Ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills on the job, and to observe, remember, and recall significant information and events.
