Digital Imaging II
Course Description
This core course provides students with advanced techniques in using software to manipulate images for digital and printed media. Topics include automation techniques, speed, resolution, format, and corrective filters. Students are introduced to common digital photography problems, color correcting, retouching, and sharpening critical areas of a photo. It approaches using digital imaging software as an art form.
A total of two credits are required from two different Fine Arts areas. Fine Arts areas include Music, Visual Arts, Dramatic Arts, or Additional Fine Arts Courses. Digital Imaging II is an Additional Fine Arts Course.
