Course Description

This course explores the influences of society on individuals and families. It is designed to assist students to be self-sufficient in all areas of health including; Career and life-management, and the development of personal and professional relationships. This class will also examine the decision-making process and communication skills. Students will study nutrition-related topics, the effects of substances on health, the warning signs of unhealthy relationships, the importance of abstinence, the risks of early sexual activity, and the risks of infection and disease on overall health.
