The Sioux City Community School District provides access to an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) through UnitedHealthcare’s Care24 plan and Morneau Shepell.
Care24 is available to employees and their dependents who are covered by the District’s Health Plan. Care24 provides 24/7 unlimited, confidential, and professional services to help find solutions for health concerns, personal and family issues, along with work challenges that you may be facing. Madison National Life – Morneau Shepell EAP
Services through Morneau Shepell are available only to employees who elect life insurance or long-term disability coverage. Their EAP provides eligible employees with access to masters-degreed counselors 24-hours a day through a toll-free number (Ph: 866-451-5465), up to three free in-person assessment and counseling sessions, legal assistance, financial assistance, childcare and eldercare assistance, and memorial planning assistance.

Your EAP assistance is confidential and conforms to HIPAA regulations. No names are identified or reported to anyone without your written authorization except in the following situations: by court order, imminent threat of harm to self or others, or situations of abuse (such as child or elder abuse).
