Paid sick leave and expanded family and medical leave under the Families First Coronavirus Response Act

The paid COVID-19 leave available through the federal Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA) ended on December 31, 2020.

Beginning January 1, 2021, if you are impacted by COVID-19 please follow the instructions below.

  • The employee is ill due to COVID-19: You may use your own sick leave, personal then deduct time
  • A family member is ill due to COVID-19: You may use family sick leave, personal then deduct time
  • Supervision of a child(ren) due to a school or daycare closure. You may use personal then deduct time
