Morningside Elementary visits a Farmers Market

It was a different kind of Farmers Market held earlier Thursday in Sioux City.

Normally you have to venture out to a Farmers Market, but in the case of Morningside Elementary School, the market came to the students.

1st through 3rd graders got to meet with five vendors to learn about fresh produce.

They also got to purchase some healthy snacks using “play” money.
