Hunt School Students Receive Free Piano Lessons
Some Sioux City school students are getting a hands-on musical education.
The First United Methodist Church is partnering with the Sioux City Community Schools to offer free piano lessons to Hunt School Students.
The piana instruction at the church allows students to have exposure to music outside the normal school day.
It’s an opportunity for students to get greater exposure to the musical arts.
“If we want to be a pianist when we grow up we are learning right now so we can be good at it,” says Jusmely Hernandez.
Students are excited about the opportunity to receive free piano lessons.
