Kindergartners Advancing Education with Tech
A group of Sioux City children are using technology at a young age to help them advance their education.
Kindergartners at Leeds Elementary are using technology in their classrooms like tablets and “bee-bots” to help them learn the alphabet.
The tablets help them learn to be able to write and the “bee-bots” teach the children how to identify letters.
This technology was brought into the classroom at the start of the school year.
“They already know a lot about technology. Kindergartners can do it. They teach me things too so it’s kinda fun to see what they know, but also expand their knowledge of technology,” says Kelsey Cory, the Leeds Kindergarten Teacher.
This classroom technology was all paid for by grant money.
