North High Student Council Hosts Unique Fundraiser

It was a fundraiser that was full of music and dancing at North High School this afternoon.

The 4th Annual North High Dance Marathon, put on the the student council, was out on to raise money for Unity Pointe Health Saint Luke’s Children’s Miracle Network.

This year, the group hoped to raise more for the organization than in years past.

Student Council President, Quinn Kimbell, said, “This year we are trying to raise $6,000. Last year we reached our goal of $5,000. I feel like we represent just an amazing event that takes place here at North High. It just shows how well things are going.”

The Dance Marathon all began with a vision from a former student and although only a few years old, is growing bigger every year.
