Summer 2018 Traffic Education Course

The Sioux City Community School District (SCCSD) plans to offer two, four week sessions of Traffic Education for the summer of 2018. The first session of classes will run May 29-June 27 and the second session will run June 26-July 26. If further snow days are utilized, course dates will change accordingly. The cost for the class will be $385. School waivers are accepted for Summer School.

Classes will be held Monday thru Friday at each of the three public high schools East, North and West.  Registration will begin on Monday, March 5th for students enrolled in the SCCSD. Registration for students not enrolled in Sioux City Schools will begin Monday March 12th with the deadline for all registrations ending on Friday March 30th.

In order register:

  1. You must be 14 years of age.
  2. You must have a valid learner’s permit and it must be shown at time of registration in order to complete child’s registration.
  3. A complete deposit for the class fee must be made to the high school you are registering at in order to be completely registered.

Registration forms must be filled out at the main offices of the three SCCSD public high schools (East High, North High, or West High).  You will need the students permit and fee at the time of registration in order to fill out forms.

Registration is limited to the number of available openings at each school.
