Siouxland elementary students celebrate STEM Day with fun activities

Students all around Siouxland participated in a school-wide STEM day Friday.

Students in Kindergarten through 5th Grade gathered at Morningside Elementary for this school-wide STEM Day, where kids participated in multiple sessions, featuring a different STEM activity.

“We are a STEM school so, we like to incorporate that throughout our day and this is just something special to make it stand out. Also, having our kids work together with kids that they normally would not spend their entire day with and also other teachers that they would not be exposed to,” said teacher Kim Brown.

Some of the activities were cosmic bowling, an escape room and engineering and science experiments.
