Spalding Park Elementary celebrates good behavior with fun activities
Students at Spalding Park Elementary who were on their best behavior this year got a special reward Friday afternoon.
Spalding Elementary rewarded students who ended the year with zero disciplinary referrals for the year with a t-shirt and certificate and a special party, put on with help from East High and Morningside College students.
“To have positive remodels coming here and working with students who have shown positive behavior its a win win for all of us,” said Assistant Principal Cami Barker.
“It creates a stronger bond among the kids and the parents and the teachers so when they get together to do all these fun activities they are getting closer and creating more friendships,” said East High volunteer Riley Nelson.
