Amy Lofland, 5th Grade Teacher @ Loess Hills Elementary

“Amy creates positive relationships with all her students and demonstrates great respect to each of them. Her students work effectively both independently and collaboratively each day as they learn and practice new strategies. Amy is collaborative and supportive with co-workers and parents, especially as a member of the Building Leadership Team.”

“Annette is a fabulous special education para who continuously works to support the students’ needs through her positive attitude. She can always be counted on to fill in wherever needed. Annette provides support and gains students’ confidence. She is willing to try new ideas that will help make the students successful. She is a great asset to Morningside Elementary.”

“Cecilia is the first face parents, teachers, students, and community members see when they walk into the office. She is always eager to help and is not afraid to take on challenges if it means it will benefit those around her. Every day, Cecilia goes above and beyond to make sure everyone has what they need. Cindy Tudehope, PE Teacher @ Loess Hills Elementary

“Cindy is a top notch PE teacher at Loess Hills. Her positive energy motivates both students and staff. She works hard to make all her classes learning focused and does special events for the holidays that the kids LOVE. Cindy also incorporates math, reading, and coding into her lessons, and is always willing to be flexible when someone needs to use the gym.”

“This month’s staff member of the month is a woman WHS staff and students see every day. Donna is not just a staff member, but a friend to all. She is such a kind hearted person who is incredibly friendly and loving to everyone. Donna makes an effort to get to know and spend time with as many students as possible. She is a true asset to the West High team!”

Holly McManigal, Teacher @ West Middle

“Holly is new to the building this year, but has made a huge impact on our staff and students in that short amount of time. West Middle School staff have noted that Holly is extremely friendly and easy to approach. We are extremely grateful to have Holly on the Wildcat team!”

Jamie Guffy, Office Manager @ Leeds Elementary

“Jamie knows the names of almost every student in the school and always has a smile on her face when she greets parents and families. She is like a walking encyclopedia, able to answer any question concerning Leeds Elementary. Jamie is helpful, kind, and patient to all students, staff, and administrators. She is very organized and helps Leeds run smoothly and efficiently.”

“Tina recently received her Board Certified Behavior Analysist (BCBA) certification. Her expertise with behavior analysis helps to provide our team with interventions that support teachers with student behavior plans. Tina’s positive attitude and great sense of humor provides everyone with a sense of calm when addressing challenging situations.”

Trula Beals, Special Education Teacher @ Spalding Park Elementary

“Teachers state that Trula goes above and beyond to meet the unique individual needs of each student on her roster. She always makes students and parents feel welcome and at ease when starting at a new school or a new year. When teachers need advice, Trula is there to collaborate and offer support and suggestions to encourage student success.”
