Students who will attend the new Bryant Elementary next fall got an inside look at their new school thanks to new technology.

The students used virtual reality goggles to see what the new classrooms and hallways will look like. A couple students say they’re excited about the new library, but the school’s new lockers drew the most excitement.

“We never got lockers because we never had lockers in this school. We get lockers in the new Bryant and I don’t like closets,” said Annmarie.

Reed is just excited for new scenery. “This school is getting really old and we’ve been here for a while. I just want a new school.”

The Sioux City Community School District wanted to give the kids a sneak peak of the school, but it’s not ready for actual tours yet.

Bryant Elementary will be open in August, just in time for the new school year.
