Superman and Wonder Woman visit Sioux City elementary school
Superman and Wonder Woman made a surprise appearance at Liberty Elementary.
The Super Heroes rode trikes around the lunchroom greeting the students.
The special appearance was to reward students for surpassing their goal of selling $10,000 of items in their Fall Fundraiser.
The fundraiser helped raise money for things like recess equipment, STEM materials, reading take-home bags, and more.
The students ended up selling nearly $12,000 worth of items, so Principal Stacie Henderson, and Assistant Principal Dave Schipper suited up for the special event.
