Adults in Iowa get to take part in the presidential caucuses on Monday, but Tuesday, the state’s kids got to weigh in.

Schools across the state, including this 3rd grade class at Morningside STEM Elementary, took part in the Iowa Youth Straw Poll, voting for candidates for President, U.S. Senate, and U.S. House.

One student told us they voted for Tom Steyer because he is on TV a lot and wants to be President.

One student told us Medicare was his deciding factor in voting for Pete Buttigieg.
