Jeni Miller, Art Teacher @ Morningside STEM Elementary
“Jennifer comes to work ready to greet her students and give them the best art experience possible. She is a strong advocate of the arts and promotes the use of technology in her lessons through the online program, Artsonia. This program showcases student artwork online and gives art students the opportunity to collaborate or provide feedback to one another—all of which are crucial components to a real-world art experience. Jennifer also encourages student expression, which is something she hopes will follow a student throughout their education and into the real-world.”
Tina Brennan, Consulting Teacher @ Perry Creek Elementary
“As a consulting teacher, Tina strives to form meaningful relationships with the staff at Perry Creek. She brings new ideas into our classrooms, which makes learning fun! She is always available to support teachers by modeling lessons, sharing resources, and supporting our Professional Learning Communities (PLC’s). Mrs. Brennan has also taken on the role of Perry Creek’s International Baccalaureate (IB) coordinator. She is an integral part of the IB process and works tirelessly to prepare our school for this transition. We are grateful to have Tina at Perry Creek!”

“Over the summer, Barry and Brent worked tirelessly to get the building prepared for students. After the construction at Riverside was complete, Barry and Brent made sure everything in the building got put back in its place and sanitized properly. This school year, they have continued to ensure the building is clean and sanitized. Barry and Brent, your hard work is greatly appreciated by all of the staff and students at Riverside. Taylor Koch, Librarian @ Liberty Elementary
“Miss Koch collaborates with her fellow librarian to make Liberty’s library a fun and engaging place for students. Her work inspires students to read. Miss Koch has helped develop several practices that ensure the library can continue to utilize all of its resources while still allowing for social distancing mitigation efforts. “Ms. Perry has done several things to “Make It Happen” at Liberty this school year.
