Kudos to Megan Ganz (Fourth-Grade Teacher | Sunnyside Elementary)
“When my son had to be gone for an extended time, Mrs. Ganz went to great means to accommodate his at-home learning. She communicated with him through email and TEAMS and then invited him to join his classmates via TEAMS for one to two lessons each day. She challenged him to continue working even when it would have been easier to take a vacation. Most importantly, she made him feel cared for and missed. Teaching, learning, and parenting during these unusual times are difficult; teachers like Mrs. Ganz make it all a little easier.”
