On-Site Registration Days
Transitional Kindergarten (TK) and Kindergarten Registration Days are a great way to get familiar with your child’s new school. Families can meet teachers, see the classroom and learn what to expect in the year ahead.
Before attending a Registration Day, a parent/guardian must pre-register a child using the online form.
Online Pre-Registration
If your student will be 5 on or before September 15 and will be attending Transitional Kindergarten (TK) or Kindergarten in the 2021-22 school year, you must complete the Online Registration by May 20.
Still trying to decide between TK and Kindergarten for your child? Consider this information as you make the decision.

Iowa Department of Public Health Lead Poisoning Notice
The State of Iowa requires all children entering kindergarten to have at least one blood lead test before the child is 6 years of age. The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) manages this program. Lead poisoning is a serious problem in Iowa. The main source of childhood lead poisoning is lead-based paint, commonly found in homes built before 1978. Other sources of lead can also poison children.
