The District may employ individuals who are related to each other, however, the assignment of members of one family to the same building shall be avoided, if possible.
No District employee shall directly supervise or evaluate a member of his or her immediate family except as may be approved by the Superintendent. Immediate family includes spouse, children, siblings, parents, stepchildren, or in-laws.
As with all employees, no employee’s family member shall be given preferential treatment unrelated to that person’s qualifications, credentials, and record.
