Rules and regulations concerning the use and/or parking/storage of student-driven vehicles, including motorcycles, mopeds, skateboards, bicycles, roller skates, in-line skates, scooters, or any other similar vehicles, on school property shall be established by the Building Administrator. However, riding bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, in-line skates, or scooters on school grounds or on school sidewalks or roadways, during school hours is not allowed. In addition to school rules implemented by Building Administrators, students shall be required to comply with all applicable state laws, regulations, and rules of the road, as well as city ordinances.

Automobiles, motorcycles, mopeds, or any other motorized vehicles, shall not be used on school property during published school hours except for the purpose of arriving and departing from the school unless special permission is given by the Building Administrator.

A student who fails to comply with this policy may have the privilege of driving or riding the abovementioned vehicles on school property withdrawn by the Building Administrator.

Parents of children who habitually or willfully violate safety rules will be notified and warned of the danger to the student and others.

Students riding bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, in-line skates, scooters or driving motorcycles, mopeds, or automobiles to and from school assume full responsibility for their use and care.
